  • Work Session each 4th Monday at 4:30 P.M. prior to the regular meeting in the Board Meeting Room located on the 1st floor of the Rockbridge County Administrative Office Building at 150 S. Main Street, Lexington.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Board of Supervisors meetings will be held by electronic means pursuant to the Continuity of Government Ordinance adopted by the Board on April 6, 2020, due to the threats posed by the COVID-19 pandemic to the health, safety, and welfare of the public, and in accordance with the recommendations, guidelines and requirements of federal, state and local authorities.


Board members will participate remotely.  Staff will be present as normal in the Board of Supervisors meeting room at 150 S. Main Street, Lexington and while the room will be open to the public, no more than 10 persons, including staff, will be allowed into the room at one time, as per the Board’s COVID19 meeting policy. Citizens are encouraged not to attend the meeting in person, but have several options to view or participate in the Zoom Meeting Webinar as described below:

  1. View Meeting through Live Stream on Youtube by going to following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo-rAg96Ey7QwfHPfKrUZ9A?view_as=subscriber. There you can select to view the video with a "LIVE NOW" text in red or view previous recorded sessions.
  2. Join Zoom Webinar by phone dialing in or by computer. Below is the Attendee Invitation. Note the Webinar ID and Password as you will need to provide these to join through either medium. About the Board


This Board is the governing body of Rockbridge County. Board members are elected by magisterial district and serve four year terms. The Board selects the Chairman and Vice Chairman at the first meeting of the calendar year.
